Re: Making Evolver Sound Analog
I had an Evolver and a Mopho at the same time. They sounded different enough to keep both. The Mopho is your best bet for getting close to the Pro-One sound. These are 2 of the best modern synths made imo. I only sold them to fund a modular system.

Re: What was the most expensive Synth you ever bought?
I think the most expensive synth i've bought is my 303, which i paid $700 for back in 1997. But the most expensive musical item i've bought was the Machinedrum. That cost me $1200.

Re: Monotron Mods
Are there instructions online for that particular mod? I just got a Monotron as a gift (tons of fun to mess around with so far). I was poking around a bit online and found this blog (scroll down the page a bit to get to the Monotron stuff) with some mods that look similar to this: http://www.dinsyn...

Re: Monotron Mods
I should note that i did not build the box itself. I got it prebuilt. This is where it came from. But if the build doesn't look too difficult, i'm sure i can build some.

Re: TB303 and TR909 sync?
Radio Shack, assuming you're in the states. If they don't have the 6' black ones, the 3' color MIDI cables work just fine. They come in packs of 3.

Re: TB303 and TR909 sync?
Those wouldn't help as it would only split the din signal. He needs convert from MIDI to DIN.

Re: TB303 and TR909 sync?
Well, the 909 DOES have MIDI. As well as Din Sync. But both the 909 and 303 only respond to Sync INPUT. So you do need a converter to go from MIDI from the 909 to Din Sync on the 303. The Roland MSQ-100 is good for this. The KMS-30 is getting too expensive for it's own good now a days. In all honest...
