Re: Short rant: Rosen Sound in LA (106 voice fix)

A few months ago I was contacted by the owner of Rosen Sound. He was coming up to the Bay Area, and wanted to check out the Vintage Synthesizer Museum. Long story short, while he was there, he ended up fixing a Juno 106 chip that I had stripped and was still giving me problems, showed me how to do t...

Re: DK Synergy Droning Problem

We have the original sustain pedal(s) and it exhibits the issue regardless of whether or not the pedal is plugged in. We moved the jack in and out of the socket several times, just to make sure that it was clear.

Correct.

DK Synergy Droning Problem

Just got a version 1 DK Synergy, and all of the functions and voices are working fine, except that any time you hit a note, it just drones indefinitely.
Anyone had this problem before and/or know how to fix it?
Thanks.

Re: Roland System 500 vs Moog Mother 32 (x3)

x3 Mother 32 seems to be the obvious answer...3 voices+3 sequencers versus 1 voice with no control...

If you're thinking about going Make Noise, I would certainly consider waiting for their 0-Coast module.

Re: Korg MS-20 or Maxikorg 800DV?

Korg MS-20 vs. Maxikorg 800DV: Like others noted, you'd be getting the long end of the stick as the Maxi-Korg is probably worth more, and definitely more rare. Personally, I love the MS-20, and if I could only have one of them, it'd be the MS-20. Luckily, I don't have to choose, and I have both. ;) ...

Re: Korg Minilogue Polyphonic Analog Synth

It really looks great. I'm wondering what else might be in store from Korg... Prologue: The Pro version. With 8 voices. To stem the demand for a JP-8 reissue. Monologue: Even more streamlined one voice mono. Dialogue: special cable for polychaining. Epilogue: More fully featured analog drum machine...
