Re: Roland R-70 Bad Outputs
Thanks for the reply Maschinegeist. Do you know where I can find a service manual for the R-70? With it I might be able to open it up and pinpoint the problem.

Re: Roland R-70 Bad Outputs
Yeah, I have checked the internal (thats what you meant right?) mixer. I have every thing at full volume. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Roland R-70 Bad Outputs
Hey guys. I recently discovered that the right stereo output and both individual outputs don't work properly on my R-70. The right output is really quiet and the two individual outputs are even quieter and hum.
Does anyone know how I could fix them?

Re: First Mixer
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I have settled on a used Mackie 1202-VLZ on ebay that I should be able to get at around $150 hopefully.

First Mixer
Hey guys, I need some advice on mixers. I'm looking for one that is pretty cheap(roughly $200AUD) but works well. It needs to have 8 channels minimum and a couple aux outs, also an insert buss would be nice.
If any of you know of any mixers that meet my needs please reply. Thanks.

Re: Novation bass station help
I'm not sure what is causing your problem, but I know that the power supply doesn't have to be the Novation one. My power supply is just a 9v AC adapter I bought from an electronics store.

Re: What polysynth should I get?
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. The Roland JX-3P and JX-8P look interesting. I don't really like the idea of the external controllers, but I will keep an eye out for them anyway. Also, just so you guys know the Juno 106 I have been looking at has a $900 AUD Buy It Now price on eBay, all the voi...

Re: What polysynth should I get?
Do you mean the Prophet '08? If so, that would be a pretty nice present. But, I think it is slightly out of my price range

What polysynth should I get?
Christmas is coming and I'm hoping to find a nice polysynth under the tree this year :D. Although, I'm not sure what polysynth I want at the moment...I'm also not really sure if I should take the modern approach or the vintage approach. I have been looking at some Juno 106's lately but the ones that...

First Drum Machine
I'm looking to buy my first drum machine and I'm not really sure what I should get. I'm looking for something that makes reasonably nice drum sounds for under $500 used or new. The only gear I have now is a Novation Bass Station Rack, so I really want a drum machine so I can actually start making so...

What synths do The Presets use?
Hey guys, I love the Australian band The Presets and I'm wondering if any of you know what synths they use. I know they use two Korg MS-20's and some Roland synth live. But I'm interested if any of you know what else they use.
Thanks.
Thanks.
