Re: Akai AX60

Not a bad price I think. If you paid with bank transfer it can take a day or two depending on your bank. Give him a few more days, or contact him about it. Paypal right after the auction was over :( $230 for an AX-60 is a great price, congrats! hope it does show up... i've had one before, great syn...

Akai AX60

I won an eBay auction on an Akai AX60, $200 + $30 shipping or so. Just wondering if there's anything crazy I should know about it, from your experiences. Jumped on the auction, because $230 for an AX60 looked like a good price for me 8) Unfortunately, the seller hasn't shipped it out yet... despite ...

Re: POST ANY INTERESTING EBAY AUCTIONS HERE!!!

It's just not the right time to buy an MS-20 IMHO. They're way too popular right now. For what they sell for, you don't get very much, and whoever had the MS-20 would probably want a bunch of money from this guy in addition to the CAT. CATS get no love. They don't sound like anything in particular ...

Re: What synth = what car?

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. Under-appreciated during its time, like the TB-303.
Lots of fun, and a decent amount of power... but not TOO much power.

Re: POST ANY INTERESTING EBAY AUCTIONS HERE!!!

Funny that he is willing to offer the CAT + cash for the MS-20. Maybe, I'm in the minority, but I'd rather keep the Cat than have an MS-20. You know, we may both be in the minority. I'd keep the Cat too. I think at current rates, the MS-20's are a few hundred dollars more expensie though. But yeah....

Re: POST ANY INTERESTING EBAY AUCTIONS HERE!!!

Thought this was also "Interesting Auction" worthy.
The price will probably end up rising a bit, might be worth it for someone to get it sorted out.

Yamaha 'Keyboard'

After selling most of my synths to buy a car (G35 Coupe Sport 6MT), I'm in need of something more then my MS-2000 and JX-3P that's just as cheap. Poking around on the Philadelphia, PA Craigslist (local) I came across this. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/msg/1290339047.html I have little experien...
