Re: An interface with decent inputs

this thread is like a murder mystery film - i'm loving the suspense so much :)

OP - can you put up some sound examples of the synth straight into the interface and with the mixer inbetween?

just to keep the tension high

whodunnit? :D

Re: Rave-ish? techno something or other

YEAH!! enjoyed this, kinda reminded me of the music from Streets of Rage 2 on the Sega megadrive/genesis (this is a good thing).

very atmospheric, I like the bit at about 2 minutes when that ring mod bit comes in :)

Re: jeeroj album out tomorrow, come and have a listen!!

got a really nice review this week :) http://acidtechno.wordpress.com/2011/10/13/jeeroj-%E2%80%93-selected-acid-works-08-11-slime-recordings/ If Tangerine Dream had tweaked a Roland TB-303 in 1987 then this startling, engrossing album is how the soundtrack to Near Dark might have turned out. Opener ...

Re: looking for a and x0x0x0x0 1 question

I got one from The Beast, a guy who builds them over here, I'd highly recommend him. :)

The other one I got from a friend who is a mod over at the x0xb0x forums, it's got a few extra mods and is a total monster.

Re: Novation Supernova 2 or Alesis Ion or...?

ceephax mainly relies on his trusty SQ80 for polyphonic stuff, live, it's the SQ running the show.

have a look at his electronic interview to see the rest of his studio....

Re: looking for a and x0x0x0x0 1 question

i had a revolution v2 and ended up selling it to get a x0xb0x, the fx are nice but i felt the sound wasn't quite what I was after. It sounded good but a bit more metallic sounding than a x0xb0x/303. Plus the sequencer, although nice, isn't quite as easy to bang out acid lines on, you really need to ...

Re: Jupiter 8 versus Jupiter 6 ?

yeh, i was more in agreement with this, people are aware of the threads, just not bothered with looking... quite frankly a lot of the threads do not receive much participation because people (like me) see their title, find it uninteresting and/or unintelligent (unlike this one) and do not bother ope...

Re: poly and sequencer for acid pads...

the main thing is to be able to store all the parts of songs that i won't be able to play live so the sequencer has to be able to hold multiple patterns. I've been umming and erring about a command station, mainly the size is very tempting but i'm not too sure how easy they are to program. With the ...

poly and sequencer for acid pads...

yo, i'm after a pad machine for my acid tracks. I really need something to fill in the background of my tracks. Previously I had an ensoniq esq1 and i loved the sounds i could get from it and also the fact it had a sequencer built in. It was fantastic in that i could use it for multiple parts. I had...
