Re: chilled acid playing with the SQ80L vst

lol, a wobble would really sort it out, I have 2 good friends who make very good bass music, maybe I'll get them to remix it for me!

I quite liked the stripped down nature of the sound but I definitely know what you mean about the structure, cheers for taking the time to listen and comment!

chilled acid playing with the SQ80L vst

It's been a little while since I've posted up any music, mainly due to selling most of my equipment to pay rent and bills :( I was gutted to sell my ESQ-1 but I determined to overcome my fear of softsynths and try out the SQ80L plugin. Needless to say, I think it's LUSH! I'm so glad to have the haun...

Re: Falling in love....

x0xb0x for me, i use it for basslines, melodies, all sorts really. I can just sit and play with it all day long rewriting and refining patterns. i also loved my mc-202 and sh-101, to me they sounded slightly different and filled different roles. I used the 202 for high arpeggios and squeaks, the 101...

Sir Nose wrote: Size and build quality are 2 big ones.

people are always moaning about "build quality" i don't know anyone who has had a problem with the quality of the build. Maybe "i don't like the feel of the pots" would be a better thing to say rather than a sweeping generalisation which has no basis...

MFB!

have a look on here, you could get a couple of lovely drum machines from them, one like a 909 and one like an 808. I'm not certain what the prices will be in the USA but worth a look :D

Re: 90s sounding big beat \break beat drums

maybe post up some example videos for people to listen to so they can get an idea of what you're after.

I went out on driving with my mate last week on a tour of the county, with only 1 cd with all the chemical brothers albums on, it was brilliant :)

ESQ-1 sysex dump - how to?

Hey all,

I want to dump all the song information from my ESQ-1 onto my pc.

Can anyone give me a real dummies guide on how to do this? I have a midi interface which I can hook up. Do I need a program to do perform a sysex dump or could I use cubase?

thanks in advance :)

Re: Anyone share their M-Base01 programs?

I just sold my mbase01 so I can't share with you but when I had it I would find a kick sample I liked and try to copy it with the mbase looping them both :)

it's LFO's controlling filter cutoff and sometimes volume.
