Re: Swapping out the Andromeda

Interesting. The FV, or SoFV, will probably be out of reach for me for a while. Thanks for that demo of the JP6, I'm really loving the sound of this synth. I think I'm going to go ahead and bite the bullet on this by either selling the A6 to purchase a JP6, or trading the A6 for a JP6. Thanks for al...

Re: Swapping out the Andromeda

Interesting, thanks for all the input so far guys! A lot of people who are A6 owners seem to have a love/hate relationship with this synth; I'm glad I'm not the only one. I own both and a Jupiter 6 is far less lush than an Andromeda. For me, the Jupe 6 is like having a poly SH-101 or a synth I used ...

Swapping out the Andromeda

A little background here, I've had my A6 for almost 8 months now. I was really excited to finally get one, but as time has gone on I find that I don't like programming it. It's a nice sounding synth with lot's of capabilities (which is why I bought it in the first place), and I thought since it's mo...

Re: New NI Synth

I was bummed out that they took the pure authentic route instead of adding a little more functionality. Oh well.

I'm loving the latest Komplete so far though.

Re: Free gritty analog monosynth VST

Hey I went to try this out, but when I load up the VST I get this error message
Can't load SE Plugin: The specified module could not be found. \file path\PatchMemory.sem
Do I need SynthEdit for the plugin, or..?

Thanks!

Re: a big difference in the virus ti and virus ti2 plugins?

Seems a bit hit and miss with the software VST. I run into some occasional issues with it freezing up, etc. on my TI2.

Re: What will Korg release next?

... I had hoped that with the introduction of all these devices in the past couple years that companies would be trying to one-up previous attempts, instead of a literal daisy chain of devices I perceive to bring little to no additional innovation to market... Right there with you on that. I haven'...

Re: Komplete 9 confirmed for 3/27/13

Komplete has really come a long way since I first tried it out years ago... I think it was Komplete 4 that I messed around with.

Re: 4 Keyboards that complement each other?

I´ve selected my gear using such criteria. no matter label or reputation, but looking to create synths wich help each other with their funtions or the lack of them. Definitely is how I'm going about my gear currently. I'm planning to cut my setup from 5 synths down to 3. I'm already feeling a bit o...

Waldorf X-Pole

I've tried searching with little information found, but has anyone had any experience with an X-Pole filter module? I was originally looking at getting a MiniWorks 4-pole but found out it was only mono in with stereo out. So, I'm thinking of a getting an X-Pole to pair with my Q when I want. Any inp...

Yeah, an immediate flip would be lame. I hope whoever got it will enjoy it and get the most out of it.
