Re: Why are patches missing on my Proteus 2?

Do you have a midi interface for using between the computer and the module? You'll need that and also a program to load the files and send them to the Proteus.

Re: Some synth noise for your enjoyment (or not)

That's what your music on soundcloud put together reminded me of. I haven't heard that album in a long time though.

To think that Vangelis once said he'd never use MIDI when it first appeared... ;)

Re: The 10 Most Widely Influential Synths Ever

The Fairlight should definitaly be on the list and also the Synclavier and Emulators. The Modular Moog and VCS3/Synthis too while we're at it.

Re: How do you feel about mini-keys

I never thought I'd say this but I just love using mini-keys. I have a PSS480 that I play and have as a controller and while not velocity sensitive, I find the smallness of it all really charming.

It did take some time before I was fully confortable, though.

Very interesting. I had one when I bought my first Hammond (and an Acetone FR8L with my 2nd purchase).

I always wondered what synth was playing for this scene... and thanks to this thread, I found it it was the McLevier. You can see it onscreen @ 0.42
