DS-8 Issue

My korg DS-8 is having a weird problem. Some of the patches don't sound like they used to and the names have changed (Weird symbols in them, missing characters, switched characters, etc.). I only left it alone for 1 week and it was doing fine before last night when I went to play with it. And some o...

Re: Need suggestions for a delay/chorus/flange rack

You could always try the Korg DRV-2000. It does reverb, delay, chorus, flanger and panning. (It also has a reverb/delay combo effect) I've owned mine for a while and I like the reverbs and delays on it, especially the reverb/delay combo. I can't recall how much I paid for mine but it may fit your bu...

Re: Novachord #346 Inspection & Initial Wakeup

This evening I applied power to the Vibrato Rail for the first time using a current limited bench supply. Sure enough, as I wound the voltage up to 50V DC at 120mA the Novachord's trademark ticking noise began. It's wonderful noise - you could almost imagine six tiny woodpeckers sitting inside the ...

Thinking of getting a Korg Z1

I've been thinking about getting a Z1 in the near future.
Is there anything anyone can tell me about it like-

How good is it at Strings/Pads?
How are the onboard effects?
Is it good at weird sound effects?
How deep are the modulation capabilities?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, It does not.
It does have a thin pulse-like wave (called pulse) though.
