Re: Which was your first music toy?

a "Mini Piano" http://www.bbc.co.uk/berkshire/content/images/2005/07/05/mini_piano_203_203x152.jpg  I had one of those! I also had this one little keyboard, I forget the brand but I remember when you turned it on it said "Hello! Let's play!" and did a scale of notes. I think I may still have...

Re: Korg MicroKorg latch function?

Do you mean a hold function, where you activate it and it sustains all notes held down?

I've only sold the MicroKORGand I'm glad I did...
You know...I've changed my mind. I don't regret selling it, but I do miss it sometimes.
Good source of weird effects and things like that.

Yamaha VSS-100 "Mouthed Drums"

Cheap Drum Machine?

I've decided to sell my EM-1, the drums are a little to realistic for me and it's more than I need. I'm wondering what would be a good, simple replacement. Re: one line synth reviews

MicroKORG: Nice, but it got on my nerves with it's "Small-As-Toothpicks" keyboard and limited polyphony. Sold.

Poly-800: Nice for strings and pads. Has the "Vintage Poly" sound (As I call it).

DS-8: IT'S ALIVE!!!

Alpha Juno-2: Meh, it's nice I suppose...

ESQ-1: This thing is a beast!

Re: Keyboards come crashing to the floor!

I decided to try out my friends keyboard stand once with my ESQ-1.
Needless to say the stand broke, but my ESQ-1 was fine...I can't say the same for the floor though
