Re: Cheesy organs

Try looking for this thing. It's a transistor Hammond (Not sure of the model #) http://i729.photobucket.com/albums/ww291/retrosoundsda/Studio1.png It's huge, but it has some cheesiness to it: http://fc08.deviantart.com/fs49/f/2009/200/d/3/Hammond_Organ_Dry_by_retrosounds.mp3 1. Strings (Yellow Switc...

Re: your drum machine

Currently I'm using a Korg EM-1 but since I'm going to sell it I'll be using a DDD-1 or a DDD-5 The motion sequencing on the Electribes is a lot of fun. I also like how you can go thru the different patterns on the fly. That's what I like about the EM-1. Since it doesn't have LFO's, the mod sequence...

Re: Synthesizing the word "die"

I remember trying something like this on my MicroKORG. I think the parameters were something like: (I know the MEK isn't multitimbral, But it's just for a basic idea) Timbre1- Osc1: Saw FilterType: LP Cutoff: 50 Reso: 20 EG Routing: Negitave (Or Positive) EG Amount: 33 Osc1: Saw FilterType: HP Cutof...

Not a synth, but I got a Yamaha VSS-100 at a garage sale for $10 (Their apparently "extremely rare")

As far as updates: The Mono/Poly could have 2 more LFOs And the MS-20 could have more oscillator wave shapes.

But no midi interface???
I was going to put that, but I just assumed that since it's being released it would include MIDI. #-o

Call of the angels (A WIP)

Just thought I'd post a quick Work In Progress of a song I'm working on. (May not be done for a while)
All done on the ESQ-1 and recorded into Audacity (Reverb at the end from the DRV-2000)

Re: Patch website (idea -vote after reading)

I like the general idea, sounds like something I'd use a lot.
I could help design some layouts.

Take the PolySIX. It's (IMHO) vastly superior to the Alpha Juno.

Re: Dumbest thing you've ever heard someone say about synths

I tell my pops I want a few synthesizers for their sound. his reply: "Don't they all sound the same?" ...he's a guitar player. Oh, I know how that feels. My dad collects clocks (he has about 15 now...) I said "You have to many clocks" He said "You have to many keyboards" So then I say "But all of m...

Thanks, and like I said, it was not even intended, that makes it even better. I've tried to reproduce it but it won't work.
