Re: New analog boxes from Korg?

Re: New analog boxes from Korg?

Well, I ended up ordering 2 Volca Keys (may do 2 more) and a Volca Bass and Beats. As I have been thinking about these small wonders, I had the thought, wouldn't it be cool if they made a "string" synth like all the old strings synthesizers of the 70's as a new volca product in the future. There are...

Re: New analog boxes from Korg?

I ordered 4 Volca Keys and I already have a Midi pal...so I'm making a Volca "4 Voice" system. These Volca keys really remind me of the old Oberheim OBXa voice boards...(I know not a direct comparison)...Even though, the sound that I've heard coming out of these off a few of the videos, are simply a...

Re: New analog boxes from Korg?

and now you've got a VERY inexpensive 4 voice! (except for patch storage) Actually, patch storage is indeed possible since each knob responds to MIDI CC. Someone just needs to write a program similar to the MTribe software for the Monotribe to make it easy to do. Also, not sure if such a thing exis...

Re: New analog boxes from Korg?

Check this video out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=MLhVBtIB8rA Okay...now that's what I've been looking for! Think of each Volca Keys as an OBXa voice card inside an OBXa... Now think of daisy chaining 4 or more of these through midi with a Mutable Instruments Midipal, wh...

Re: What should each company make next?

I'll just address Korg here, since they are really the only company of the majors that are really in touch with making inspirational instruments...that being said: Dear Korg, Now with your Volca products forth coming, please make a larger version with larger touch plate keys like the new Ken MacBeth...

Re: New analog boxes from Korg?

I'm planning on getting 4 Volca Keys and add to that my Mutable Instruments Midipal, and make a "4 Voice" system. I kind of look at the Volca keys much like an Oberhiem "voice" card in an OBXa...each Volca Key will act independent or all together through the Midipal and a Knobby Midi keyboard...very...

Matrix 1000 help needed...

Hi all, I just got a 2nd Matrix 1000 that seems to have an odd issue...everything works on this unit, however, patches that have mid to higher frequencies seem to have almost a distorted white noise mixed in all of them...I would even say some aliasing causing mild distortion, while lower bass patch...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

If I remember correctly, it was mentioned that the MB will also have a "polychain" ability...if this is indeed true, then I can see Arturia selling a ton of expansion modules to polychain together for an ever increasing polyphony. Heck, even just 2 in a unison mode would be killer...2 MB filters run...

Re: Animoog acting buggy with ios5

I just read up on the Moog website, and found this: "Q: I have an ipad and I cannot get any sound out of the app. It comes up and when I hit the keys they activate, but no sound. Please help! A: First, note the hardware slide switch on the iPad next to the volume up/down buttons. Make sure the switc...
