Re: The New Tom Oberheim SEM Thread

Actually, I'm in the process of making an "auxiliary" Euro modular to interface and expand not only my new patch panel SEM, but also my FR XS, Moog LP, Korg MS-20 and Monopoly. Instead of me trying to find emulative Oberheim SEM, Moog, and Korg MS filters in the euro format, I'll actually be using t...

Re: How to sync 2 SQ10's together?

Hi and thanks for the response, but I was actually meaning is it possible to hook up one of my SQ10's to the other (I want to use SQ10 #1's rate knob to control and to sync up SQ10 #2, so that #2 unit follows #1 unit's timming) just by using the ins and outs that are on said units. Thanks for any fu...

How to sync 2 SQ10's together?

Hello, just wondering what is the best way of syncing 2 SQ10's together? I have acquired an MS20, MS50 and 2 SQ10's as of late and would like to know if anyone here has synced 2 SQ10s before? Thanks! Jaime

Re: The New Tom Oberheim SEM Thread

I'm thinking of doing the same thing as Nadafarms with my SEM. Although I can use a number of items I have to CV up my SEM, which now includes: Korg MS20, MS50 and 2 SQ10's, FR XS, various Moogerfoogers plus MP201 and Cp251, I still think maybe some livewire modules would be cool, especially that Cy...

Re: polysix vs prophet 600

Hello, I actually own both. I don't have much time at the moment so this is certainly not exhaustive. Both have their merits. The P600 has 2 osc, with freq mod and all 3 waveforms can be used at the same time on each osc. It also has nice portamento . The Polysix has 1 osc but has a great effect sec...

Re: Good analog for around $1500?

Hi, I too have a FR XS and the orb sequencer and must say this is the way to go. The XS will give you the pallet to create a world of sounds and more...it's nice and compact but I'm continually amazed at what I can come up with on it. I also have a Korg MS 20 and MS 50 combo, and again this gives me...

Re: The search is over...

Hey AG, I also would like to thank you for not only the MS20 Videos, but also all of your ones as well...always very enlightening. I'm not sure that the MS20 by itself would have made the connection I find with it unless I also had the MS50 to be honest. I think that is is this particular combinatio...

Re: The search is over...

Hey Joey, I will definitely say that an MS-50 coupled with the MS-20 really is amazing! I also know that they are so very expensive. I happen to find both of these together in mint condition at a price that I couldn't pass up. Hence now I am again selling a few items on ebay (see my post in items fo...

I feel so blessed! I just purchased a Korg MS20 AND MS50 that basically looks brand new...and I am completely amazed by how versatile and how great this combo really is. I've owned so many of the analog legends in my days, but I can honestly say now that this small but powerful package gives me the ...

Re: New Korg Wavedrum

I bought one when they were originally released. Very cool unit, but these new ones look to be an improvement. The new price looks much better also! I sold mine many years ago, and have kicked myself many times for doing so. Looks like a new Wavedrum is on the list to buy. Setting money aside now. J...

Re: Anyone here use an Orb or Nemo?

Hello, if anyone is interested, I'm thinking of selling my Orb...I just bought it, but am adding another Oberheim Sem to the studio, so this will help to fund the new purchase. PM me if interested. Thanks! Jaime
