i've noticed that (weird)kind of pattern with them in the past with samples that really don't stray far off of the original.

it really opens up possibilities on my k1 II(which doesn't have a filter) and replaced my mfc42 for adding movement on some other gear. i really like the delay and xy touch pad too!

My perfourmer really does it for me(kinda like that guy that taught Kimock... TONE). Doesn't always sit well with others but has heaps of harmonic content and can still surprise me with its shear brilliance. I just saw Praang recently, and hadn't heard of it until the day of the show, way different ...

Battery is the the only drum vst I use, komplete being the best way of purchasing IMO. It's very simple to use and delivers lots of options in the way of filters, fx, looping and even rolls and patterns. I've heard good things about ezdrummer. Kickmaker is pretty cool too.
