Re: Polysix st

Hi Mooger, and again thank you very much for the great and well explained help ! (Anyway, mess with the MG speed and delay time while the arp is running and see if something happens). No problem with the MG seed & delay. You're right Now the tape enable line goes to the dedicated circuit in the KLM-...

Re: Polysix st

Hi Mooger, thanks for the time you took and the great help. First, when you say you connect a modulation source from the MS-20 to the Arp Trigger In, you´re feeding with an S-trig signal, aren´t you? Just to make sure.. and Is everything OK with the Trig In jack connector, right? - Yes i feed it wit...

Re: Polysix st

Again, thank you Mooger -It sounds OK when play manually -EG chips OK , times calibrated OK -ARP on in POLY mode, the voices tiny led Blink in a NON STEADY SEQUENCE (so they are not synchronized with the ARPEGGIATOR SPEED LED, that is my problem) - If those chips are OK but they´re sending out a cha...

Re: Polysix st

Thanks a lot Mooger5 I've use a MS20 modulation to trigger Arpeggio of the Polysix and problem is the same . I've checked VR1, replaced the 555, replaced electrolytics, controlled the continuity...scoped ACKR and ACKR 1 lines... The signal that comes to the 8049 key assigner pin 6 interrupt is OK an...

Re: Polysix st

thanks a lot to both of you :D My problem is that the arpeggiator speed is not constant, some notes are hold a longer time , then the arpegio sound is not synchro with ARPEGIO SPEED LED near the pot. I've use external trigger of the arpeggio, problem is the same. I've made scope measures and everyth...

So i' think i'm pretty close to solve the problem, there is maybe a other part that close or block IC21 ?? Any idea is welcome, i...

Korg MS-20 EG2 faulty

Hi, This Korg MS20 , EG2 has stopped working : HOLD ATTACK DECAY SUSTAIN RELEASE on EG2 do not works. Testing the synth using patch to get an external envelope was ok, so i think the VCA and everything else is still working. So i would like to get the EG2 back to work -I've replaced IC21 (tlo71) : n...

Re: kawai sx-210 Square wave faulty

It look likes the three 8253 are faulty. Some 8253 square wave signal output are silent, and some are at a different octave. So i'm going to replace the three 8253 or check if the problem could from components before the 8253 DCO. I will win :D But if any tech could check the service manual ( http:/...
