i've been eying the acidlab miami, since i'm not likely to find an 808 for $250 either. you gave the miami a favourable review last fall - did you change you mind & sell the miami?
i am grateful for the insights into your music. always happy to find & support interesting & professionally done independent synth music. i look forward to your next release!
I received your CD in December, but haven’t had a chance to give it the listening it deserves until now. I’d like to share my thoughts on it... I think it’s a well done, very professional release. The pieces on it tie together well, but also contain enough contrasts & surprises to keep you engaged f...
Mungo State Zero MungoZero.jpg John Bowen's Solaris Solaris.jpg state zero versus solaris! both are digital synths with 4 osc, 4 filter, both have gobs of knobs... state zero may be modular, but the solaris has tons of routing & modulation options. i think these two need to be thrown into the ring ...
DSI would probably have room for a TETR4-K if the P'08 got some sort of ugrade or enhanced feature set to differentiate it more from the TETR4. But I suspect DSI is busy enough at present such that anything like that isn't likely to happen soon...
Mungo State Zero. what the h**l is that? A big a*s synth. http://mungo.com.au/zero.html i found their site but their sparse description is not all that revealing. analogue? digital? hybrid? why are the patch cables "real"? how do you do "unlimited" routing & memory storage on something that uses "r...
this is such a beautiful piece. lyric, reflective, and otherworldly. and the tones of the novachord & theremin blend together so well. i vote for an entire album of novachord & theremin duets.
your string demo is hauntingly beautiful. it would not take much to turn that demo into a beautiful & complete composition. to hear that with theremin would be an amazing combination.
a tetra keyboard would be nice. any kind of poly from moog would be fantastic. i'm also keen on seeing more about john bowen's solaris. ... and i'm sure it's unlikely, but wouldn't a poly from tom oberheim be fantastic?
