Re: TS vs RCA? - audio quality

Thanks for the info. both Line1 and Line2 are independent balanced stereo inputs, with option to record L/R stereo off one Line. that's why I'm asking if its safe to record into Line-in (on the interface) as stereo with both L/R outputs from the synth. Re: Netbook's & Recording software ??

I thought about the Mac solution, so I built myself a OSX86 hackintosh box :)
Not totally h**l bent on using a laptop, just a portable solution to recording live audio and using VSTi's.
A all-in-one PC would also do the trick maybe.

Re: Netbook's & Recording software ??

@Thomas- thanks for the heads up, I will continue my search for a budget solution.
I would prefer to keep it below $300.
a $120 used netbook fits my spending limit, however there is no point in wasting money on one if its not up to standard.

My vote goes to:

Re: Hardware Synthesizer Sales Figures/ Worst Selling Synths

I'm sorry for not being clear enough that I thought it sounds terrible . That is, judged only by those youtube clips. :P don't feel sorry. all DarkStar units really do sound horrible. I bought mine second-hand for $20, and thought the unit was busted. after some research, i found out they all sound...
