Re: those fancy stands for synths

I'm pretty sure the person in that video is a member here. Maybe he can chime in and tell us what he uses. If you find out who he is on the forum, let me know. I really enjoyed the video :D --- On-topic: how about some funky/weird keyboard stands? example- NIN, GravityKills. "gravity kills / Dougla...

Re: Access Virus B- Headphone output. dead??

I will check that out. update: wile I had it apart, I noticed the continuity stopped at the first capacitor on the trace, running to the outgoing ribbon cable that connects to the main board. i'm no expert to know this, but could a bad or dead cap cause this to happen? at leas...

Access Virus B- Headphone output. dead??

So here's what's up. the headphone jack is acting like a MONO output. I'm only getting a signal through the Tip, nothing on the ring. "TR-S" so what gives? I pulled the pedal control board out "It's where the Headphone jacks located", and poked around with a volt meter, checking for continuity. The ...

Re: What was the cheapest Synth you ever bought?

Actually.. to set the facts straight, I use a ASR-88 for MIDI keys.
or- I use the semi-weight Axiom 25.

I do own a AN1x "not in photo"
the CS1x was a bargain-buy synth I found to have some useful sounds.

Re: Jumping into recording - where to start?

Re: What was the cheapest Synth you ever bought?

Cumulus- I'm glad to see another fan of the QS/ series.
I only own the one Modified PCMCIA card, that accepts compact flash cards. its great for editing and uploading your own sounds to the synth. however I'd love to own a couple of the original Q cards :D
