Re: Going to buy some Mackie gear

Thanks OJ,

Yes I have heard they are really great monitors.

But so many pros (Ed Cherney!) use KRK's now!

Going to buy some Mackie gear

Hey guys, I am contemplating buying Mackie HR824 studio monitors, they will cost me about $850 for a pair. OR I can go out and buy a new pair of KRK RP8G2 for about $900. Re: A Very '80s Ensoniq SQ-80 Demo

Yes that was a nice little track. :D

Though the outro needs a bit more work.

Also, try a new audio host such as http://soundcloud.com/

Other than that, I enjoyed it.

Awesome! Thanks for the replies, Purity_Control, really happy you like it. Seamonkey, thanks for the feedback! You're right about the vocals... I'll probably revisit this song later and get something down (won't be me singing though!). I really appreciate the encouragement. :D Also, thanks for...

Re: REcording a bass guitar

You will need some kind of audio interface. Plug the bass into a small mixer, which outputs to an M-Audio interface, which is connected to the computer via usb.

Not sure if there is an easier way, but this works for me. :D

The Boy in Me - classic rock

G'day, Well, this is my first topic in the listening lounge! I've seen some pretty masterful musicians post stuff here, so I hope you enjoy this and please give me some feedback. :D Now some stuff about me. My name is Chas, 17 years old, love that music from the 70's & 80's. Hoping to get into WAAPA...

3 days delivery from Aus to US? A bit hopeful

Cheers, Graham
I sent it via TNT Express. Actually, it only took 3 days to deliver it. However, the buyer didn't seem to realise it would take me some time to package it and take it to the depot. :D
