Re: VSE - Good trader/seller thread

pricklyrobot Sold me his Yamaha RX5 WRC04 "Effects" Cartridge, and it went VERY nicely! He emailed me a tracking number (I never even asked for one!), and it came VERY fast. Well, described, Well packed, Well done! As Stevie Wonder Says: "Signed Sealed Delivered, I'm Yours!" :D I'm even closer to c...

Re: Making Some House in My Studio...

Very nice man. I liked all of it pretty much other than some timing issues. I think you should ditch cubase and go for ableton live, or at least check out the demo and see how session view works for you if you haven't already. That with a mixer and maybe an FX box for the sends and you are on the b...

Re: Making Some House in My Studio...

Hey, here's another track I made recently. Much more mellow this time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i91uI3jz_Qc Enjoy! Everything is scattered everywhere becuase I'm too lazy to put stuff away... TR-626 is the master, controlling the JX-3P's arpeggio for the strings (LOVE that feature, also...

Re: How often have you accidentally erased a "good" program

I loose patches sometimes, it sucks. I don't really loose them that often anymore, though. (knock on wood) I do the same thing. Redundancy is key to any large system that needs to be relied upon, airplanes & trains, servers, etc. I back up everything to at least two hard drives and then more importa...

Re: Expensive MIDI Cables...?

I think I just paid something like $10 for a MIDI cable at Radioshack. So yeah, $6 would be cheap enough. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy cables from Radio Shack! They are junk, and they won't accept returns on them. AND you pay too much! I go to Guitar Center for ALL my cables. LiveWire has a lifetime warra...

Re: VSE - Good trader/seller thread

Bought an RX5 WRC03 ROM Cartridge from micahjonhughes , and the transaction was VERY fast, and VERY smooth. Perfect, mint condition item, I LOVE it, it works PERFECTLY. I actually had to go through with the "Initialization" process, which I'm pretty sure is something you do if you buy it from the fa...

How About This as a Project Synth?

It's a Roland D-20, has some problems... 260677326444 Well, it "makes noise..." that I'm kinda scared about, becuase it could seriously be anything. There is a huge chunk of plastic broken off of one of the corners, which I don't care about, I have plastic, BONDO, and paint for that... (all I have o...

Re: ***Write Reviews For The VSE***

I personally would REALLY like to write out reviews for the Yamaha RX Drum machines. All of them. :D

They are SOO underrated, and there is hardly and information on them at all, anywhere. I feel it's time for them to be learned about.

I just gotta hit those manuals up, hahaha.

6) scrap the XLR connectors and get new ones... Those outputs give a new meaning to "FUZZ" (lol) WOW. That's scary. It makes me scared to look at those. WOW. lol  I have no where near the experience rhino has with this stuff, but yeah, do all those things, and just give everything a go...

Re: What was the Deepest Synth you ever bought?

Speaking of KORG, I'd have to say the Radias was the deepest synth I ever bought. I first had an R3, and used the h**l out of it, and actually did do pretty much everything there was to do on the R3, then I bought the Radais... :D
