Re: Vintage digital reverb suggestions? hardware/plugins?

I love my DEP-5, I thought it was severely underrated when I picked it up exactly two years ago on Friday for $92.40

Re: Vintage Synth Cases?

I use an old Samsonite suitcase for my Micromoog, works like a champ. I dont know how old the foam inside of it is but I slip plastic shopping bags over the synth from both ends to keep it from even coming in contact w/ the foam.

Re: V-Synth as a master?

Alex: I understand where you're coming from, having to switch off local control or turn down volume or mute channel if you don't want to hear the master can get annoying. I don't really want just a midi controller because if i'm going to use the space anyway I figure it might as well be multi functi...

V-Synth as a master?

I recently sold my JX-10 which in my old setup, was my master keyboard. It had its share of issues combined with the aftertouch not working and I decided it was time to go. Now im looking for a new master keyboard/goto to fill its void. Im currently leaning towards the V-Synth, is there anything abo...

Re: My Vintage Soul for a Voyager XL?!!

Yea I guess it depends if you actually use the SH's, Monopoly, etc. I got to play with a Voyager XL a month or so ago, and while it is an awesome piece of kit its still a Moog. It wont cover the all of the Roland and Korg sound you may still want to use. If you could get a regular Voyager and a CP25...

Re: Favorite phaser pedal ???

I though about buying a phaser pedal for a long time, and ended up getting the Moogerfooger MF103. It sounds beautiful to my ears.

Re: Price check: Roland SH09

Ended up getting it, when I bitched about the price being high he threw in an ESQ-1M for free. Whatever, I'm happy, he probably needs the money more than me anyway

Re: Price check: Roland SH09

I'm going to take a look at it after work, of it's as flawless as he states I'll probably go for it. Should still be cheaper than eBay + shipping. I'm a sucker for anything I can pick up..

Price check: Roland SH09

Found one for sale on a local CL ad for $700 is this too much? I haven't found any recently completed eBay listings for one yet. The most recent price thread on here for one is from 2008. What do you think? Seems like it's top dollar but seller says it's in excellent shape.

Thanks

Roland JX-10 is capable of some really nice pads and has a really basic internal sequencer.

Re: MXL 990 / 991 mics

Ive got a pair that came with a 'Recording Kit' (KRK Rokit 5's, 2 mics, stands and headphones) I used them to do a couple ambient noise recordings before with a Presonus Firestudio Project and thought they sounded very good. Considering they were pretty much free with a purchase of the monitors im p...
