Re: Organizing your synths

Im currently in the process of buying my first house and cant wait to finally get my studio back together. Ive got a whole basement to work with and im thinking about just doing the music store style walls so I can rearrange as often as I want. My biggest concern is keeping as much as possible off t...

Re: Favourite Minimoog Solos!

If it was that track you're thinking of, I recommend hoping over to his website and downloading the whole album "Filling up the city skies" for free. One of my favorite finds ever.

Re: cramped transport, looking to teach, what should i take?

Yea I agree with taking small and inexpensive gear for now. If your friends are interested enough why not have them over your house sometime for a proper jam session where you dont have to worry about hauling vintage gear around? Edit: One night with an MC-303 was enough to inspire me to jump into t...

Re: Deep Field - Andromeda, Mopho, ATC-x, Alchemy

Sounds good to me, only thing that sort of stood out was that arpeggio (I assume from the mopho?) thats panned all the way right. It may not have seemed static to me if I didn't have headphones on but what would happen with a slow pan back and forth a couple times?

Re: How do I get a stronger signal?

OK I still don't understand why the signal difference is so great between the two set-ups. Thanks everyone. I remember on my Mackie 1402vlz3 the XLR and TRS main outs were hotter (+4dB) than the RCA outs. It doesnt look like your manual states this for your model but does the rear of your mixer hav...

Re: IC's long gone..

Sure there are modern equivelents to be used, and thankfully still analog synths being made. Are there any ways to prolong the existing IC's though? Or do we have to deal with the fact that one day these synths may die forever?
