Re: MFB Nanozwerg, Urzwerg, Microzwerg & Megazwerg

The Microzwerg looks fantastic on paper. Looks like a lot of fun as well. I can't wait to hear what it can do. I was contemplating cancelling my order for the MIDI>CV SEM because, basically, I can't afford it. The Microzwerg has got me thinking about that again  The price of the Microzwerg is ...

u-he ACE

I'm not sure if this has been posted on here before. I did a search but couldn't find anything. Anyway I've just seen this on the Music Radar website & it looks & sounds pretty bloody amazing! I was really impressed with the audio demos & it only costs 69 Euros! I'm quite tempted by this on what I'v...

Re: The New Tom Oberheim SEM Thread

But I wonder why Tom didn't do something similar? The patch panel version with basic MIDI>CV built in would have been awesome. Cost and simplicity perhaps? Just been looking at some of the new MFB stuff. They have a new little synth out called the Nanozwerg. 220 Euros and, like most of the M...

Cool 8-) I love MFB stuff. I bought an MFB-522 last year. Fantastic value even if the build quality is not up to much.

Re: The New Tom Oberheim SEM Thread

Heard from a memeber of another forum that Tom is now saying 4-6 weeks for the MIDI>CV version. That's cool ;)

Re: The New Tom Oberheim SEM Thread

they are a bit expensive in the EU, but i might just NEEEED this one whatever the cost.... That was the position I was in. Still paying for the TETR4 but what the h**l - the whole World seems to be run on massive debt these days so I'm just adding the SEM to my long line of credit card purcha...

Get rid of it & buy an SH-101. Only 1 oscillator on there so you'll never been in doubt again ;)

Re: The New Tom Oberheim SEM Thread

Ah man. I didn't want to listen to any SEM demos because I knew I would get GAS for one, and I'm living off of dry dog food and water as it is. I've been living off bread & water, since telling the misses I've ordered an SEM, as a demonstration of my determination & will to get one of these things....

When I get my new SEM I'm going to do an oscillator 1 V's oscillator 2 comparison - Those osc 2's. Never as good as osc1's are they? Or is it just me?!

Can you use an imported DS-10 plus on a UK DSi?

Re: The New Tom Oberheim SEM Thread

The patch panel on the SEM is totally passive. There is no circuitry in there. So I'm guessing that adding patch points to the MIDI>CV version would not be the hardest mod in the World to do. That's very true, and putting in the patch points yourself would be much easier than building your own midi...

Re: ME80, A new CS80 Emulation

The audio demos on the website sound really good. They've certainly captured the character of the CS-80 sound, which would be good enough to fool a lot of people. I'd buy this based on those audio demos as I love the CS-80 sound ...... who doesn't?
