Re: Good FX pedals for my synths?
H-Nation, I have tried the ModFactor, and while it is a great stomper (almost a crime calling it that!), I really didn't like the OS/Workflow. Same with TimeFactor, huge digi delay box, just didn't mesh with me. I'm weird like that I guess. I'll scope out the MF-102 for sure, but I wasn't sure how c...

Re: Good FX pedals for my synths?
I spent way too much time with this very scenario. Tried many pedals, racks etc. My guitar pal even told me I had fallen victim to the preverbal "tone cross" he so claimed many guitarists find themselves in, i.e. the search is never over, the quest for THE sound, etc. In the end, as previously state...

Re: Advice on monitors?
I can concur with the foam/acoustic treatment within your space. I own a pair of A7, and noticed a sizable gap in the low end, so I purchased a sub thinking this would be a simple fix...all that did was muddy up to room. Sounded like I was underwater if too loud. I spoke so a few audio engineers, an...

Re: Prophet 12 new user review
I haven't bought a digital synth since the Roland Phantom dropped, but this thing has me straight tripping. Thanks for the thoughtful and well worded reviews and demos. Please keep them coming until I can devise a way to accrue $3k...

Thanks for the reply. First time Japanese buyer, was a bit timid, but the synth will be worth it, me thinks.

Indeed, so am I to assume no fees forthcoming? Also our conversations, while in semi-broken english, lead me to believe he/they are of a decent lot, no?

Buying from Japan
Just bought a synth from an Ebay seller in Japan, does anyone know if there will be import charges I might see when I go to pick-up the synth. I live in America, and I've bought from England and Europe before without extra fees, but I'm curious if there will be some in this instance. I'm sure there ...

Re: Dream Synth(s)
How much is that much? I don't know where to begin pricing one...i've seen anywhere from $500 to over 3000GBP(!!) for a fully working model as for "sub-standard"... don't care about any of that. this is a dream synth and the point is nothing else makes for a sound quite like it...those vocal textur...
