Cheap Video Camera with Audio Input

I'm looking to find a cheap, very non-expensive video camera with audio input and wanted to get suggestions from you guys that have gone through that search before. It doesn't have to be new, doesn't have to be updated with lots of awesome features...h**l the picture quality doesn't have to be speci...

Re: Prophet 08 vs Prophet 08PE.

I've always looked at it like this - If you play live, and/or you get very into the music while you're playing live or recording....then you'd probably want to go for the upgrade in knobs. if you're like me, and you record calmly and don't really play live where you might get all amped up - then you...

Re: Patch editor for BOSS VF-1 now available!

I personally would rather just keep seeking out a physical VF-1 than switch back to pc, heh. You know it's an editor for the hardware and not a VST, right? The Editor is super cool, but the VF-1 has a good-sized display and a pretty logical menu layout, so it's not the worst thing to edit from the ...

Re: Patch editor for BOSS VF-1 now available!

Lend me a Mac!... and hang tight for about 6 months! Seriously, I've never done any Mac coding but certainly wouldn't balk at the opportunity to do so (and h**l, there's a lot of potential money to be made in iApp development...). But seeing as how I don't own a Mac, and this took me 200+ hou...

Re: Synth examples, post them here.

I recorded a simple demo last night showing off the Future Retro Orb sequencer. In this track, it is controlling a Prophet '08, EMX-1 and Six-Trak for all the music. I do switch patterns off and on using the remix feature, which is very cool and allows for a lot of diversity if you so choose. http:/...

Re: Mono Evolver KB vs Prophet 08

I've not had the pleasure of playing a P08 but I'm sure it has things going on that aren't there in the PEK. But quite frankly, I'd rather not know about them for the sake of my bank balance. ;) Believe you me, that is EXACTLY how I view the PEK! Thanks for your suggestions... I decided to KEEP my ...

Re: POST ANY INTERESTING EBAY / CRAIGSLIST LISTINGS HERE!!!

I just don't see the point in lambasting someone because you don't agree with what they're asking. If it's really a problem...just don't buy it. If you find a great deal, pick it up. It's that easy...but to b***h at someone or about someone and the price they've put on something isn't likely to get ...

Re: Turning your JX-3P into a pseudo-Jupiter

You guys are pretty much having me convinced to just stick it out heh. I really want a maschine, vsynth and nord wave so I'm selling gear off to buy those three...i might have to keep the 3P and sell off something else instead! Thank you for the information...I really appreciate it!

Very clever dude, you found a what appears to be incomplete, and not especially useful synth part at a flea market, and now you want us to pay big bucks for your score... 250723493460 Well lucky for you - you live in America, and you can refuse to purchase anything (except health insurance apparent...

Re: Synth Spotting - Etienne Jaumet

Looks like an Axxe above the 808. Check 1:57 Yep, it's an Axxe mk I. I also spotted a Roland SH-101 and a Crumar orchestrator. No no, sorry - I think you're looking at the video still Micke. I posted a link to a Flickr account of a photographer that took pictures of Zombie Zombie live last weekend ...

Re: Synth Spotting - Etienne Jaumet

Anyone able to tell what all is here...? This is Zombie Zombie live at Unsound just a week or so ago...I can't figure out what the red-sided synth is with the macbook sitting on top of it...it is very attractive but doesn't look like something I've seen before... I can identify the Arp Pro, 808 and ...

Re: Mono Evolver KB vs Prophet 08

I do think the only reason I'd get rid of my MEK is to get a PEK. Combining that with my P'08 would be quite a bad a*s sound I have no doubt. I've just gotta find one reasonably priced... While they do share the same filters and oscillators - you honestly can keep them from ever sounding the same. I...
