Re: Roland Alpha Juno 1 for $200?

i just picked one up for about that much.. sounds nice. one thing though, midi on it isn't the greatest. when i use a software editor, and say tweak the filter cutoff the same times as it's recieveing midi on/off messages it results in stuck notes, or notes not sounding. the editor is great for gett...

Roland Alpha Juno 1 - Midi issues (stuck notes)

Hello all, Recently picked up a Roland HS-10 (Alpha Juno 1) for a good price. All the voices work well, everything seems to be good to go when using it on it's own. I don't have the money to dish out for the PG300 programmer, so I downloaded a software editor instead (UA300). The editor seems to wor...

Re: Moving from MPC based sequencing to Cubase - need help.

I agree, Ableton is an awesome choice. It has a bit of a learning curve, as it's setup and operates differently than other DAWs. Just spend some time with it, and watch youtube tutorials.

It's definitely very similar to the MPC though, I highly recommend it.

Re: Oberheim ob-8 What is it worth?

I searched completed listings on eBay... looks like a few have sold for between $1,800 - $2,500. not sure what that is in euros. of course i'd recommend replacing the battery and making sure everything is in proper working order before listing.

Re: Roland Juno-106 with a dead memory batter...

yea.. i'm really considering it. i personally know the seller, he's an old co-worker of mine.. he's a good guy.. so i know there won't be any funny business there. however he isn't a synth/keyboard guy... and he doesn't really know the whole history of the instrument. from what he has told me, all 6...

Roland Juno-106 with a dead memory batter...

so i have the chance to buy a Roland Juno-106... for $250. i still need to inspect it further... but it has been "tested" in test mode... and all of the voice chips are working. although it doesn't have any of the presets in it, as the memory battery has died. i've done a bit of research... looks li...

Re: AKAI Synthstation free on the Apple app store.

i picked it up for free.. it's pretty sweet actually. lots of drums samples to picks from, and they even give you some control over them individually (pitch, level). 3 synth tracks, with pretty in depth editing. it's no ableton live, but pretty badass for an iphone app. plus you can save tracks, and...
