Korg M1 problem

Hey, I need to replace the Data slider on my Korg M1. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be very appreciative.

Re: I dropped a pick in my synth

I had that happen with an AS/IS SQ-80 deal. The seller claimed that it would power up, but that it would only sustain low notes. After a few days of being frustrated that it wouldn't calibrate; I shook it & the pick fell out of the keybed. It was a homemade pick. I also found some change inside.

Re: SH-101, issues.....

Thanks guys!
I was playing around with it today & I'm beginning to suspect the power button, as it's goning between normal & noise glitch mod depending on its mood. :( :banghead:

SH-101, issues.....

I just picked up a clean SH-101. I bought it as/is, for a reasonable amount. The seller didn't have a power supply to test it. After figuring out the controls that differ from my Junos, I noticed that the resonance control sounds like it's stuck on self oscillation & the ADS envelope functions do li...

Re: Prophet 600 programming

FWIW: my approach involves: Demo'ing each preset and making simple notes, a 'star' symbolizes that I like a preset & that it may need a little but of tweaking, a '?' means that I don't know if I can work with it, but I still try. A Downward arrow means that I simply don't like it & the space is free...

Re: DSI MEK/Mopho = Pro One, PEK/P08 = Prophet 5, Prophet VS

Unless I'm misunderstanding, just set up 2 oscillators with different waveforms, and assign the same LFO to each oscillator's VCA stage, but invert the LFO influence so that when OSC1 is at max volume, OSC2 is silent. Or do the same thing with the mod wheel control. I have a couple of parches that ...

Re: DSI MEK/Mopho = Pro One, PEK/P08 = Prophet 5, Prophet VS

Vector synthesis isn't really a synthesis type anyway, it mainly involves modulating the mixing of oscillators which is still an unusual feature even though it can be seen at least as far back as the Ensoniq ESQ-1 nearly a quarter century ago. Um, how would I go about doing this with my ESQ-1? bumped

Re: Processing the ER-1?

I've been stuck with an ER-mkII since 2006. For a while, I wrote it off as a 'Rave machine". I would usually slow down the presets (from 170+,wtf?) & tweak them to suit. Still that wasn't always enough, as I like the dirtier Skinny Puppy/Joy Division sound; to get this I would run the ER thru a Boss...
