Question For Owners of Juno 2 + PG-300
Am I dreaming or does sweeping the low-pass filter of the Juno 2 manually while using the PG-300 produce stepped filtering instead of smooth?

Re: PG-300 and Alpha Juno 2 Not Communicating
*solved*
The manual for the PG makes no mention that it's important to set MIDI Exclusive on the Juno to 'On'.

PG-300 and Alpha Juno 2 Not Communicating
Hello gang, I can't get my newly-purchased PG-300 and Alpha Juno 2 to communicate so I can edit the Juno. I did the following: - set the Juno to MIDI channel 1 - turn memory to Off - Programmer Out of the PG into the MIDI In of the Juno - Start up Juno first, then PG-300. Both light up, sound is com...

Re: which soft synth?
Get Omnisphere and you'll be happy for many years. It has a seriously wicked synth engine (not just a rompler with 40gb), very fat filters, vintage-sounding effects, and quality sampled waveforms from many of our favourite old synths.

Re: Korg MS-20 Knobs
Thanks, it turned out to be for naught. Someone in town had posted an MS-20 for 300 beaners because the volume knob is missing. Wouldn't you know it - the ad was gone 20 minutes after I responded with interest. Maybe someone just up and offered them a grand?

I hope to have new sets called "Roland SH-5 Examples", "Roland System 100 Model 101 Examples" and "Roland Alpha Juno Examples" by end of next week.

Re: Wavedrum
Love your jam! All you're missing is a bass player... ;-) I've been looking at it for months, but I'm hoping for an update in a year or two that will allow for programming of the engine on computer. Oh and MIDI would be nice, if only to edit jams, but I suppose that's what tracking and audio editing...

Re: HELP! UPS Smashed My MATRIX 6
I just read this quote in an eBay sale detail and was wondering if some of you in the US/Canada are using other means to transport vintage synths?
"UPS is famous for throwing keyboards off the truck onto one end or the other, effectively making them unrepairable, so we DON'T use UPS."

Vintage Roland Filter Question
Does anyone know if the Roland System 101 and the SH-5 share the same filter? I know the SH-5 has a band-pass, but I'm referring to the low-pass.
