Lots of good advice in this thread. Best thing to do, I've found, is to spend more time with your equipment and find out exactly where the limitations for each piece are. Main niggle with this box for me is, as was mentioned earlier, that 128 of your sample slots will ONLY take stereo. But it's not too hard to work around it... As far as my ESX knows, I have less than 50 samples loaded. But in reality, I've got about 400 drum samples and a handful of others. It's all...

New guy here, great website. Been lurking a long time, finally figured I'd join in. 
I recently purchased one of these (same seller) for my ESX-1 and works wonderfully, despite being only $5 and change. Not the most heavy duty thing in the world, but it works great.
