Make a voicebox?

Im not sure what section this goes in, so move it if needs be. A friend of mine who has some electronics experience siad he'd be happy to make a voicebox with me. But when it comes to how, we were lost. So could someone point me in the right direction, i know its fairly inexpensive, i just dont know...

like DC12V or whatever.

I'd advise going the R3. I've had the synth for about 6 months now, and it still doesnt get old. Varied range of presets, and easy parameter editing, light up LED's are very helpful. You can get sharp leads, fat bass and some decent pad sounds too. Piano sounds are nothing to rave about though Prett...

Mono analog synth?

So I've decided that the next thing i need in my setup is a decent mono analog synth ( if you belive i need something else, tell me, i want to hear)
I'd be wanting to spend around 500-700 AUD, new or used, I dont care.
I've heard such names as the Mopho and Evolver, but im not sure if thats right.

I picked one up the other day for $50 AUS.
I wish I could tell you more, but mine has a power cable problem.
I can confirm it does weigh a ton, more than my M1, which is a feat.
