I actually live in Geelong, close-ish to melbourne.
I'll have a look and see if theres anywhere that'll do it a bit closer to home.

Ah, thanks for the in depth explanation Hybrid.
And the asset log sticker, i bought it from a school (thats where i get the bargains).
I'll keep looking on ebay, but how would i go about getting one made up?

Yamaha DX7 Power Cord

I just picked up a DX7 for $50 AUD (I dont know if thats a bargain or not). Unfortunately, it came sans power cable. The plug as the back looks like this: http://i56.tinypic.com/20jifep.jpg What type of plug is this and where can i find them? Also kudos if anyone can tell me what this sticker means ...

So i wanted to get into the modular side of synths, but being a complete and utter noob i have no idea where to start. I dont want to spend too much, $350-$400 AUD. $500 if i have to. Hrmm, but im getting this Jx-10 for $90 australian, so as long as it works im happy.
