Re: Ridiculous eBay 'Buy-it-now' and starting bids.

Got to be a typo. Otherwise perhaps the most ridiculous yet?

Re: cleaning/replacing tr-606 tact switches

Is $150 a reasonable amount to have all the switches changed (labor only I'm supplying new alps switches)?

Re: esq-1 issue

Thanks for the help. I cleaned everything and she seems to be running smoothly. Just waiting on a new battery and OS upgrade to arrive. In regards to the pedal/cv input, I've tried to use the trigger outs of my 606 and couldn't get any result. I wanted to try and modulate the freq cutoff like I can ...

Re: esq-1 issue

HI, Thanks for the welcome rhino, though I joined two years ago! :D Actually, I think you helped me with a problem I had with the first esq-1 I bought back then. Going to give all the connectors a clean. I still have the caig stuff I bought for cleaning the the key contacts on my other esq-1. And kn...

esq-1 issue

Got a cheap esq-1 recently with 'no issues'..... naturally its full of problems. ;) One of which is that the screen will go blank after a while. I can still play keys and they sound but they screen won't return. Pressing the panel buttons causes different characters to come up on the blank screen. T...

Re: dp/4 input prob

I can't test it right now, but I'm pretty sure I can plug into the front jack and control it with the input knob with no problem. So I just assumed it was the rear jack.

dp/4 input prob

Input no. 1 on my dp/4 is barely audible. The others work fine. Also, the separate input 1 on the front panel is fine, so it's not a huge deal. Would be nice to fix it though. Any ideas?

thanks 8-)

Re: cleaning/replacing tr-606 tact switches

Thanks for in the info. Might hold out a bit longer and just get it done by qualified hands then. Sounds like it could go wrong quickly.

Would you say it's pointless trying to clean the more troublesome switches in the mean time? (limited funds atm)

cleaning/replacing tr-606 tact switches

I acquired a 606 recently and some of the buttons are a little flakey. The all eventually work if you hit them hard enough or in the right way. My question is this: Given it's probably 4 or 5 buttons, would it be easier to just replace them? I remember reading somewhere that comparable tact switch a...

Re: tr-808 screws/case

Thanks for the link. I ended up just taking it back in. The screw was stripped and had to be forcibly removed.

Back home safe and sound.

tr-808 screws/case

I got my 808 back from repairs, (stick keys, tuning etc) and noticed that left side of the panel was loose and there is a screw missing. Anyway, had a close look and the gold part the sits behind the front fell inside and is now rattling around inside. The middle screw on the front panel is quite bu...
