No experience with either of these, but: Doesn't the polysix have VCO's vs. the Juno's DCO's? :!:

Last I knew, tip top audio was working on a polyphonic modular range for the euro format. Then again, I have no experience with eurorack.

Also, I recently had the chance to sit down and wail on a nord lead 2x for a while(ok, a few hours :D ). It was amazing. Most certainly an ext...

I'm upgrading to the full 16gb ( or is it 32 ?! ) capacity after a few weeks of use since I'll be completely broke. I think Owc has a Ram upgrade for 32 Gb, but it's $490 or so. Personally, I think 16 Gb is already a lot, but if you feel that you need 32 Gb, that's up to you. http://eshop.macsales....

Re: iMac- Ram or Ghz?

Also, please reassure me that a 27" screen is as important as I feel it is for the kind of work I do. Also, I don't have a TV, so I'll often use this jawn for watching stuff. 27" Display is AMAZING, seriously,it's almost as big as a TV and will work great for just watching stuff. You made an awesom...

Re: iMac- Ram or Ghz?

Also, try shopping refurbished; you pretty much get a brand new mac minus the normal apple box. You can usually save a few hundred $$$.

Re: Achieve classic 80's synth sounds with my axiom and mac?

I would say, before you buy any new software, try out some of Logic's built in synths. If you don't like the sound of logic's synths, I'd check out these guys http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products#Analog I also recommend the korg legacy collection plug-ins. The ms-20 is very nice. http://www....
