Re: New DSI Mopho 4 Voice Synth Announced
Yay, they added a couple of features that EVERY OTHER analog synth has had since the 80s!! MUST BUY!..not. I wish DSI would go a little further than just "Yeeah, the world really needs yet another 2 osc lowpass filter synth. We didn't make enough variations on the theme yet. Look. 4 voices! Oh wait...

Re: New DSI Mopho 4 Voice Synth Announced
So you can't program the voices separately? No splits... That kinda sucks... I guess that's so they still have a market for the tetra... Plus maybe price? As for price It's only 500 dollars more then a tetra but has a ton more nobs and a keyboard with velocity and after touch (YES!) and it is manufa...

Breaking speakers by turning off a synth
Hey I always notice when I read manuals it always says to power off speaker before turning off devices hooked up to them like synths to prevent damage. I accidentally turned the synth off before the speakers on mid volume yesterday and that got me thinking about the chances of damaging speakers. Doe...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth
So far I've not been too happy with it. It only came with a foreign power cord for the adapter. I tried my laptop cord which fit in its adapter, and a 110 to 240 reverse converter for those types of prongs, they both let it power up and it says on the adapter 100 to 240v input, they worked so that ...

Which studio monitors should I buy?
Hey, I currently use a set of old PC surround sound speakers (rather crappy now) and am looking to upgrade to something stereo for mixing and that can handle my Synthesizers better (e.g going straight in). The two options I'm thinking of are a Roland CM-110 (Which I can get for 580 AUD) or a pair of...
