Juno 106 Sysex

I just wondering if any of you guys knew how much parameter control you could record into reaper with a Juno 106 for playback on a 106 with midi. I can get bender movements to work, but that's it. Is it impossible to get more or am I doing something wrong? Thanks heaps

Re: what type of synthesizer do you suggest?

They're only estimates, and yes I meant pots, not sliders... Was in a rush... R3 used to go shop retail in Australia for 900, (which is parody to a US Dollar value) like a year ago. Cheaper online and Alot less now. Also alot less in US and other less isolated countries where there is more competiti...

Re: The Sound of the Polivoks

j**k Sorry if I offended you with my little joke... If you thought I was picking on Russians, you must remember that every nationality cops their fair share of cruel jokes. Ever seen the Simpsons episode were they go to Australia? Anyway I must remember that the cold war and communist dictatorships...

ESQ-1 LFO and pitch

I was wondering if anyone knew of way I could find out how much exactly the ESQ-1's different LFO settings effect the pitch of the oscillators which they are routed too. I mean how much various LFO settings effect the SEMI, FINE and OCTAVE of the Oscillator it is routed too. I know, through looking ...

Re: Goodbye DSI Mono Evolver

But I'm guessing you will still be able to buy the Desktop module version? I thought that was only new, only noticed it at my music store a few months ago... People will always want a poly analog under $1000. It never happened in the 80's, probably won't happen now. I think the poly 800 sold for les...

Re: what type of synthesizer do you suggest?

600 to 700 dollars? That's a bit of a dilemma for you and you will have to sacrifice something. I'm guessing you want polyphonic, so you options are either to buy a lower range new board or a used board(they come with the risk that something is wrong, or will go wrong with them in the near future an...

Re: Goodbye DSI Mono Evolver

Mopho is like a mono evolver without the digital oscillators? I read that it's exactly one voice from a prophet'08, with an extra suboscillator that goes -2 octaves on the second vco. Yea, it's one prophet voice (2 OSC) but it has a sub Oscillator per DCO. One which goes -1 octave down and the othe...

Re: Collecting, eBay and Synth Economics

I think that it is more to do with a paradigm shift or shift in ideas about the worth of things. Back in the 90's or whatever a lot of people had this mentality that old technology = c**p. But now analogue sound is coming back into vogue and most of the progress types admit that digital can not perf...

Re: Does anyone know is a Roland MSQ700 will work with Juno

Yea even the VSE sight says you can use a JSQ-60 to sequence a Juno-6. Can't see how that would work if the Juno-6 has no DCB. God, this whole thing is news to me lol, thought it would be possible to sequence the thing with a CV gate...

Re: Tired of Diving Presets, need help

Also it would be an idea to start scouting out prices on ebay... so you know how much stuff goes for. Also don't take what I said about the MS 2000 to be any kind of reliable estimate, scout it out yourself... Australian prices are laws unto themselves... Also minibrute if it ever gets released and ...

Re: Tired of Diving Presets, need help

Hey. I kinda know where your coming from... I was like you, was incredibly young and wanted an analogue beast. Ended up buying a Juno 106... god its maintenance is an extremely expensive pain for a School then Uni student like me... I would, if I where you go for something new and probably digital a...
