TX81Z seems too clean to be Genesis/Mega-Drive.

Wouldn't it be more like the Yamaha CX5M ??

The sync in solves that.. . at least for me it does.

Re: Korg Monotribe ?

DCO vs VCO never made sense to me. Who gives a s**t.. spoken like someone who's probably never actually compared the two... I don't want to stand around A/B'ing a bunch of synths over moot points. All I know is that VCO synths are the only ones that have given me trouble in live situations w...

When a synth sounds bad.. I doubt it's because of the OSC and more about the VCF and ENV's.

Re: Korg Monotribe ?

Funny with the other thread.. where all the mods were being assholes and flexing their business knowledge... then this thing comes out.

I think some people deserve an apology.

Re: S-330 sloppy timing via MIDI

I've wondered ... does the S-50 have bad midi timing as well?

Got one here broken,.. getting ready to fix. Wanna know because I might just wanna get a S-550 instead.

Off topic - I personally think having the MPC60 without v3. Is not worth the hassle.

Re: question about the akai mpc60 as a sequencer+sampler com

I'm confused... are you saying than when you are trying to trigger the s950 TONE,, you also trigger the drum sounds of the 60? I used to have this problem. It's been awhile since I used the 60. And remember the MPC1000 much more clearly. But I believe the answer is ... turn off the program.

When I hear the 101/202 in a track I do miss it... but anytime I get a chance to mess with one again... I remember it's "poppy" envs and I remember why I sold it..

Re: VP-330 Choir/String Clone VST

I know there are a lot of total idiots out there. But the middle-man like me/us is what keeps the information age going/growing. Hence why I won't be looking into this VST any further until the problems are fixed. Just some honest user feedback. I got real synths/romplers/samples of the VP-330... to...

Re: If Korg can make a Monotron that sells for $65...

This thread is a prime example of why the mods here might need a middle manager... in this day and age it would prolly be a woman. seriously.. what the f**k are we really talking about here? You really think this thread is about the Roland re-releasing a Jupiter 8 for $1,000 ?? It's not... at least ...
