Re: Poly 800

Great simple cheap synth. Some great mods out there.. I suggest against the Slayer mod tho...

Not for beginners. Do you know how to program a synth? then you're fine.

my 2 cents.

Re: VP-330 Choir/String Clone VST

I assumed the problem was fixed by then. I honestly only saw pages 1 and 4. nothing in between. Forgive my ignorance. I'm sorry for being a bit brash.. because I wasn't really singling you out. But being a newb and the seeing the mods here (not you specifically)... they really push people away. It e...

Re: If Korg can make a Monotron that sells for $65...

It tracked all across an JD-800 as a controller. Only problem was.. the cutoff knob was disabled. I bet if I had some sorta ext foot pedal hooked up.. that would control it.

I wonder if it would have that issue if my friend didn't mess with the Filter control inside,..

Re: If Korg can make a Monotron that sells for $65...

- The oscs are really unstable and don't track perfectly. Having two oscs in one synth with differing intonation would be very frustrating for the user and embarrassing for the manufacturer. When you've just got a single osc with a ribbon strip to control it you don't notice. The oscs are not unsta...

Re: VP-330 Choir/String Clone VST

Sorry.. I was too distracted by the pretty picture to read the whole post.

install synthedit

EDIT: still doesn't work. I give up.

Re: USB floppy drive that reads/writes 720k disks

LaCie Pocket USB FDD 706018 Myfloppy3 Also, one last thing. Newer versions of Windows don't like to format to 720k. You have to use the command prompt. "FORMAT A: /T:80 /N:9" Just picked up the Lacie because of this post. Unfortunately I have Windows 7 Pro 64bit. Am I going to have issues? I was pl...

Re: If Korg can make a Monotron that sells for $65...

So basically the moral of this story is that we should all buy monotrons.,. and then we'll have the right to b***h about them, demanding an upgrade.

Makes sense actually.

Re: The Most Badazz Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer

As for effects... if you like the dirt.

You should maybe look in the old Ibanez multi-effects racks.
Also the ZOOM 1204. For gross detune effects.
