Re: Arturia - opinions?

Thanks!! that seems more my style actually.

Reminds me of the Elektrostudio VST's.

Edit: oh wow! Love the brass sound at 42 secs. I'm sold.

Re: The Most Badazz Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer

Judging from what you haven't liked... I question if you'll dig the Jupiter 6.

What do really want out of polysynth again?

basic style of patches I mean..

Re: The Most Badazz Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer

Or perhaps an old Oberheim ... ;) OB-series

That with your other synths would fit in class wise.

Re: Which Roland S sampler??

Sweet! I just picked up the DT-100 actually. It's HUGE!!! Thought i was gonna be much smaller. Quick question. If you have the S-Director software... how do you use the mouse/tablet? Since the S-Director dongle takes up the ext controller input? Am I missing something? Is the RC-100 the answer? If s...

Re: Arturia - opinions?

Thanks guys... I was afraid this topic was possibly done to death and mods were going to jump down my throat. Authentic.. I guess I just mean. If you had a patch on the actual machine.. would it come remotely close on the software? Wasn't really saying the sound quality or anything. btw - I'm most i...

Arturia - opinions?

Is it worth getting the V-Collection? Or is there one that just sticks out amongst the rest?

Also, do you find them to be authentic?

Re: E-MU Proteus 1000/2000/Command-Station owners...

Thanks! I did get the disc with mine. But I tend to download drivers/software because I'm always worried I won't have the latest one. Can't wait to dig in. I just wanted a sequencer, and yet this seems like a capable synth! Should I track down some of the ROMS? Or is that not worth the time/money?

Sweet... just picked up a PX-7.

Dumb question... can you easily dump sequences out of Cubase into it? Like my friends do with their MPC1000's ??

Re: If Korg can make a Monotron that sells for $65...

that's the reason that people put up with the fact that you can't actually use it for anything except sound effects. This I don't agree with. I think the Monotron being such a "near miss" is why people are rushing to mod them. If they they just made the Monotron able to keytrack correctly.. be it b...
