Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

This is quote from Sweetwater's site: "Sweetwater's very first shipment of Arturia's new MiniBrute analog synthesizer is in transit, and we will begin filling customer pre-orders before the end of June. This new synth is a hot seller with a frenzy of pre-orders, so don't wait to place your order wit...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

I recieved an email from MF regarding if I still wanted to be on the wait list. I called and of course I told them yes. Then the CSR told me I could expect them to ship out on 6-18-12. Guess I'm on the first batch going out. Next batch is expected 7-6-12. It will come eventually, and I can wait. Sti...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

It IS innovative in the design - not neccessarily in the actual components used. What other analog synth manufactured recently has used the osc. mixer, multi mode filter, brutilizer, etc., with CV and Midi/USB? I don't think anything - especially by the "big three". What else is out there to compar...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

"And the MiniBrute has the BRUTE FACTOR!" (enthusiasm about that functionality) "Yeah, well, that's just filter feedback." (irritation about enthusiasm for something that has been done) While it's understandable to keep people's thinking straight about what is new and what it is not, it is not unde...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

I wonder what's causing all the delays? I don't know if I posted this quote on this forum, but this is what the admin. from Arturia forum had posted: There are a lot of myths and legends about the release date and quantity of the MiniBrute, and I suspect there is a lack of communication on our side...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

Ugh. Can we please draw a line between "timbre" and "sound quality?" They are not one-in-the-same. No matter what is happening with compression routines, etc. it is evident what the MiniBrute does with even crappy YouTube videos. If you're an audiophile who needs purity and clarity and zero noise a...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

If I remember correctly, it was mentioned that the MB will also have a "polychain" ability...if this is indeed true, then I can see Arturia selling a ton of expansion modules to polychain together for an ever increasing polyphony. Heck, even just 2 in a unison mode would be killer...2 MB filters ru...
