Re: Is the Voyager better than the slim phatty?

I love the Voyager, but there are some things the Phatty was better at than the Voyager. More aggressive sound equates to bett...

Re: MFB Dominion 1

I believed you for almost a full second when you said the SED filter had been invented by Tesla. Great demo, this thing sounds incredible. All of the FM sounds you were getting out of it were kind of blowing my mind. I hate that I am considering selling my Voyager OS to get one... Look what you're d...

Re: The Poly 800 Appreciation Thread

You are an exceptionally gifted songwriter and synthesist, but I still don't like the Poly 800. Awesome tune, though!

Re: MFB Dominion 1

Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere, but there's a demo of the Dominion-1 up on SoundCloud by the dude who runs MFB(SoundCloud name: yapacc), and some of the tones he got out of the thing sound simply sublime. Give it a listen. Something that grabbed my attention was the cutoff frequency mod...

Re: Modulus 002 --- new synth from UK

$5200 USD? Uhmmm.... Excuse me, but I am currently under the impression that the DSI Prophet 12 will give me the same (if not more) functionality and sound for less than half that. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Re: An idea for a sticky in the listening lounge or not...

I am 100 % behind this. Great idea, Griffin. I would prefer to have more of a fluid, open, conversational format though. There's a thread over at the Moog forums dedicated to posting links to music users have created, and it encourages a lot of good feedback and critique. I'd really love for there t...
