Re: Collecting, eBay and Synth Economics

Also, it takes more effort than many will put forth to actually research before listing their kit. I simultaneously laugh and weep every time I see a listing with "if you're looking at this, you know what it is". Laziness. ...and I apparently have digressed. :? is that any worse than copy and pasti...

Re: Yamaha CS 15 VS Sequential Circuits Pro One

i think the pro one will be a firm favourite, however (where i live) they cost over twice as much as a CS-15... which for someone like me means they are not something i would compare...

Re: Australian Music Gear Prices (Revisited..)

hah an MS-10 just popped up on gumtree, he wants $1200 for it. what a joker... you can get an absolutely mint one fully serviced and good to go for $1000 shipped to your door from modeless. sad thing is that someone probably will buy it anyway since stuff like this never comes up...

Re: Australian Music Gear Prices (Revisited..)

depends on the shop too... like there is a place where i live that sells only headphones... they have huge racks of all the different types, and you can bring your device in there and try them all out, the staff are helpful and quite happy for you to spend hours in the shop auditioning headphones......
