Re: Brother PDC 100 Instruction Manual?

I've got another PDC100 (yes another!), but this time it came with the instruction manual! I'll be busy during the weekend scanning all 86+ pages and converting it to PDF format. Once it's ready, I'll supply a download link on here for those of you who are also looking for one. :D

Brother PDC 100 Instruction Manual?

I've just acquired this obscure MIDI sequencer, but have no clue how to operate it and I was wondering if anyone out there know where I can download a PDF manual or is selling one. I'd greatly appreciate any help!

Re: Roland TR-707 vs. Korg DDD-1

Everyone wants a Roland TR series. Get a DDD-1 instead! I'm loving mine with a RAM card, Sampler, original ROM cards and expansion ZIF cards available from a guy in the U.K. Worth the money! I'm also one of those few who's "livin' in the 80's." 8-)

Re: Kawai Q-80 "Disk Unavailable" message

A user from the Kawai yahoo group suggested I open it up to make sure the ribbon cable wasn't loose, but this Q-80 is actually near mint/barely used condition. I went ahead and opened it up and as expected, everything inside was clean and no signs of loose cables. It looks like I'll have to save up ...

Re: Kawai Q-80 "Disk Unavailable" message

I used a generic double density disk that my Alesis Data Disk drive also uses. So I guess the Q-80's disk drive is temperamental with a particular brand?

Kawai Q-80 "Disk Unavailable" message

If anyone out there can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it! I've got a Kawai Q-80 MIDI sequencer with a working disk drive, but here's my problem: every time I try to save or format a disk, I get a "Disk Unavailable" message after executing these procedures. I've tried cleaning it with a disk cleani...

Thanks for the recommendation! I've just picked one up for a more reasonable price and found an online vendor who sells the disks. Can't wait to try it out! :)

Re: Alesis MMT-8 Internal Battery Dead?

Hello Graham, Unfortunately, my MMT-8 doesn't come with the same battery as you described, since it uses a flat and round magenta battery stuck on the board. Although, I'm relieved to know that I can use any portable tape recorder/player to save and load files. I would do the computer route, but I d...

Alesis MMT-8 Internal Battery Dead?

I can't save anything once I turn off my Alesis MMT-8 and the battery inside is stuck on the board, so replacing it is impossible. Is there another way to save my parts/songs? I've read in the PDF manual that you can use a tape recorder, but will any tape player/recorder do? Thanks everyone!

Re: WTB replacement screws for an Alpha Juno 2

Funny I can find parts online, but no screws. Ha! ha! Looks like I'm going to have to take some screws out and scour the hardware and electronic stores over the weekend. Hopefully I can find a match!

Re: Question from newb about home studio recording/set-up

I settled on an Alesis Multimix 8 USB FX. I wanted one with firewire, but because I'm so cheap, I got the USB one instead. I'm quite pleased with my purchase and like to thank you all for replying. :)
