Re: Korg Polysix Arpeggiator
It works the same way on my Akai AX-60. Very irritating indeed. :/ Makes me appreciate the Juno arpeggiator.

Re: Does anyone know is a Roland MSQ700 will work with Juno
Yeah, I'm constantly amazed by the arpeggiator on this thing, especially when clocked externally. I use it a lot in the stuff I'm working on (for instance this track, where the TR-606 clocks the arpeggiator to produce the sound you hear right from the start as well as the bass). I believe it was us...

Re: Does anyone know is a Roland MSQ700 will work with Juno
Yeah, this is something that many web sites etc. get wrong (or don't mention.) The Juno-6 does not have DCB like the Juno-60 has. It can't be controlled externally unless you retrofit it with MIDI.

Re: tr-606 exfade demos
Wow, this is incredible! I never thought a TR-606 would be capable of this. I'll have to try and do some circuit bending on my own I guess.

SY-1 sounds really nice!
Great to finally hear some proper songs made with it. It can do much more than I anticipated
I especially liked Winter, but there are some really nice sounds on the other one as well.

Wow, that sounds great! Really close to the original. Love the drum sounds, they're really punchy.

Re: Synth examples, post them here.
Thanks! I agree about the harmonies. The tracks weren't meant as much more than examples of what a Juno-6 / 60 can sound like. They were sort of made up as I went. This Juno is my first synth, so obviously I can't compare it to VCO synths. But I have to say I was positively surprised when I got it, ...

Re: Synth examples, post them here.
Ok, here's an example featuring the Juno-6 arpeggiator being clocked by a Roland TR-606 drum machine. It is used to sync the bass to the drum rhythm. The effects heard a bit into the song are created by using the noise source and setting the filter to self oscillate (maximum resonance.) Both the LFO...

Re: Synth examples, post them here.
I made this little song on the Juno-6 a few weeks ago. I think it shows at least some of the things it can do :) All sounds are created on the Juno, one of them using the onboard arpeggiator. Some reverb and phasing was added on the arpeggiated track, but otherwise it is straight from the Juno. http...

Re: Again: Juno or Polysix?
I think what's special about the Polysix is that in order to fix one (that suffers from battery leakage), you have to be a bit more than capable of simple servicing. I can do some elementary soldering, but I don't think I would be able to fix a whole broken CPU board in a Polysix. In my case that ju...
