Re: Korg is on a roll..........

*I can't wait until a MIDI input module is created for this. this looks promising: http://littlebits.cc/bits/newsynthmodules Yeah, they announced those back in June of 2014; was supposed to be released December of 2014 then got pushed back to "Early 2015". Not sure what the hold up is, but I've bee...

Re: What is the sexiest looking synth of all time?

The wave looks busy to me , and almost has the look of a cheap running shoe. Nailed it . I also personally cant find any synth with a screen/display aesthetically appealing. The X/Y pad on the Moog Voyager is really unsightly too, like an ugly screen that also doesnt work any more  I see a cou...

Re: What is the sexiest looking synth of all time?

I too am surprised at some of the choices... though as I said previously, it is all so subjective. Still, I think some of you are just choosing your favorite synths over what is actually the sexiest looking synth (from an aesthetic/design perspective.) Otherwise, you'd all agree with my choice of th...

Re: What is the sexiest looking synth of all time?

This of course is all too subjective, but in my opinion the sexiest "looking" synth, without a doubt, is the Waldorf Wave - http://medias.audiofanzine.com/images/normal/waldorf-wave-242430.jpg http://www.sequencer.de/pix/waldorf/waldorf_wave_oben.jpg http://pds.exblog.jp/pds/1/200703/12/83/d0005683_...

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey

Do we have an official street date on these yet? Did I miss something? I've got two retailers telling me that Korg told them (on the day of the NAMM show) it would be available immediately after NAMM, but that Rich guy in the videos keeps saying " sometime in March or April ". :?: Ok folks, just go...

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B63exlPIcAALvjd.jpg:large For all of us wondering if it has mini keys? They just seem to be a bit shorter. I wouldn't say they are minikeys. Yeah, that photo is kind of baffling to me because it conflicts with what is apparently the only Korg ARP Odyssey out in the wild ...

Re: Behringer discussing making ARP Odyssey now

hmm shouldn't that info really be in the Korg thread? This is all starting to merge into one big pile of confusion. :? Someone please resurrect the Korg thread so we can stop stroking Behringers ridiculous ego... As I mentioned, I searched for the Korg thread, and it didn't come up at all (I actual...

Re: Behringer discussing making ARP Odyssey now

Don't know if this has been covered already but, Uli Behringer already stated that they are at least a year off from showing any sort of synth. So... Also, I'm sorry I couldn't find the Korg ARP Odyssey thread for some reason, but I am surprised this isn't being reported by anyone other than myself ...

Re: Moog Sub 37

Oh s**t, i'm sorry to hear that Genshi. Try not to take it personally, we all have different opinions and we cannot gauge tone on the internet. I yawned, and I meant it because you chimed in like a know it all, it seemed to me. Of course, you didn't mean to come across like that and I didn't really...

Re: Moog Sub 37

were those 4000 pre orders in Jan? if so then fair enough. I just feel that someone somewhere is calling the shots and overseas pre orders are taking a back seat to US sales. I'm trying my hardest to not get frustrated and I don't want to keep bugging my dealer for a date because I feel like a C**t...

Re: Moog Sub 37

*Yawns at Genshi* ;) Amos replied to my query and I am very thankful of that. He's a cool guy. Many people (the pitchfork wielding hordes) will have cooled down towards Moog I imagine because of that little message by a thoughtful Moog employee as no one seemed to be getting answers from Moog by em...

Re: Moog Sub 37

Ok, here is the latest from Amos over on the Moog Forums... should help to clarify things: It works a bit like this: Moog delivers a shipment at a time to international distributors, and then the distributors have their own system for allocating the units they receive to their various dealers. So, M...

Re: Moog Sub 37

Since nothing happened on 30-SEP-14 I called Thomann and learned that delivery is postponed to "end of October". I cannot believe this is happening. I did not just made a preorder, Thomann requested full payment from me so I paid for it in March. They are assuring me that I will get it with the fir...
