Re: Broken Yamaha DX7II-D Video

No, I tried to do research on how to do this and there doesn't seem to be specific directions for factory reseting a DX7II-D. Do you know the method for doing this? I appreciate the response.

Re: Broken Yamaha DX7II-D Video

Well I went in and replaced the internal battery. Turns out this is a E! Grey Matter equipped DX7II-D, and it's running verison 1.20.. But still, exact same problem, the LCD screen is all wonky showing Japanese characters and unusual text, and most the buttons seem to not recall any patches

Broken Yamaha DX7II-D Video

Well, I just came home to test this guy and decided it'd be much easier to make a video to display the problems.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Roland JU-60 Patch Editing Issues

Interesting enough, this problem DISAPPEARED! After a week or two of having the synth this problem ceased... Very stranged.. I'm not sure if I should label this thread solved or not.

Best Way to Sync JU-60 Arp to DAW

It seems that there are many ways to sync the arpeggiator to external sources with the Roland Juno 60. Right now, I'm trying to figure out the best way to sync the arpeggiator to a solid bpm in Reason/Ableton. Any ideas?

Re: Roland JU-60 Patch Editing Issues

Thanks for the replies everyone. This seems to be a common problem with earlier JU-60s, is there a guide online to do this? Or does anyone have a picture of which cables to solder?

Re: Roland JU-60 Patch Editing Issues

Sorry, I wasn't being clear enough. Basically if I am in any preset and I adjust a fader it switches to manual mode. Looks like the serial number of mine is 318173 which is before the serial listed in this image. http://www.synthfool.com/docs/Roland/Roland_Service_bulletins/Roland_JUNO-106_100213_11...

Roland JU-60 Patch Editing Issues

Hi, I recently acquired my (affordable) dream synth, the Roland Juno 60 off of eBay. The synth is in pretty great condition, all the faders and keys work just fine. There is one problem I noticed though (and maybe I'm just operating the synth wrong) but once I select a patch and try to edit it by mo...

Re: Alpha Juno Owners and the Decisions We Have to Make

I've heard of this. My Preset bank starts with Polysynth 1, so does my Memory bank but it contains different sounds.

Re: Alpha Juno Owners and the Decisions We Have to Make

Thanks for the info guys. I'm looking into either getting a 106 or 60 this summer, but are there any other good places to look either than eBay? It seems that the cheapest you could get a 106 these days is 700 and the 60 at over 1k. Also, while we're on the topic of Junos.. In the Juno 2, there is P...

Re: Alpha Juno Owners and the Decisions We Have to Make

I've seen a few videos of people using the Behringer controllers. Looks legit, but are there enough knobs and faders on the BCF2000 to control every parameter on the Juno 2? Generally how much do these run? Thanks for the fast and informative responses.

Alpha Juno Owners and the Decisions We Have to Make

About a year ago I was lucky enough to catch a Roland Alpha Juno 2 just as it was posted on Craiglist. I scored it for around $180, the thing is in great condition and the only known problems is that one of the keys is faulty w/ velocity problems. However, I'm not into the dial system the Juno 2 emp...
