I've also come across the Roland PK-9 pedals. They are MIDI but they're meant for Roland combo Organs, but I wonder if they could work for triggering the Obie like the PK-5 would. I like the PK-9 because it has a few more pedals, and it also has an expression pedal, which I am also wondering if that...

The PK-5A looks like it would, however I would assume the midi retro fit probably only covers note on/off and perhaps velocity of the notes? If that is the case then that pedal would be a little bit of over kill in that scenario. You might have more fun hooking that pedal up to a more modern synth ...

Triggering an OB-Xa via MIDI pedals

I'm looking to know if it is possible to trigger an Oberheim OB-Xa Synth with a MIDI retro fit via a set of MIDI pedals, particularly the Roland PK-5A pedals? Something along the lines of Geddy Lee/Rush back in the late 70s early 80s.

If not the Roland, what pedals could work, if any?
