Re: Alesis QS7.1 - Thoughts?

Yeah man, I'm pretty into it! The programming will take a hot minute to get used to since knobs have been my forte' for some time now. The effects and mod routing is the main obstacle I'm dealing with at the moment. But I'm sure I'll grasp it shortly. Definietly not the most difficult synth I've eve...

Alesis QS7.1 - Thoughts?

I have a chance to get one of these really cheap, great condition. I need a rather reliable synth to use live, and some of you may know I do new age spacescape type music ala Ashra, Tangerine Dream (Phaedra-Rubycon era), Klaus Schulze... I have read the manual and the modulation possibilities are pr...

Re: Korg MS-20 Mini

They (Mono/Poly) aren't worth $1200. Yes, they are....Better than Moog, beautiful tone, etc. Eh, maybe they are. I'm convinced. Anyway, I have a few questions some Ms20 owners may know. Say I wanted to patch out of the ms20, the pink noise generator into the Minibrutes VCF CV input. Now would I bas...

Re: Nord Lead 4 Coming to Musikmesse

Yeah, but it's a shame cause it's what people really like about the 3. If that was the only thing people liked about the Nord3 then that's a shame. I had both rack and key version and loved them. The sound was much better to my ears than the 1, 2 or 2x. Much more organic sounding even though it was...

Re: The great thread of electronic/synthesizer soundtracks

Yep, but I just found an old post on Analogue Heaven where some guy says he's read somewhere that the synths used on "Scanners" included a Prophet 5 and ARP 2600. That could very well be true, don't you think? Maybe Mr. Shore just forgot about the 2600 when I asked him about it. Someone has posted ...

Re: The great thread of electronic/synthesizer soundtracks

Thanks for the info Stephen! I'd love to get my hands on one!!
I love the way MG used it on both New Age Of Earth and Blackouts. So tasteful!!
Is it an easy piece to use?

PPG Wavemapper question

Is there any possible way to keep the keys on the iPad version to NOT have volume sliding? If I just want the keys to produce a consistent volume how do I do that, if it's possible?

This program is awesome BTW!!!

That rules man. I'm sorry for your loss, and I understand completely where this is coming from.
The force of hurt creates powerful emotion, and when it can be captured thru audio it can truly be felt
by everyone.

Thanks for sharing.
