Re: How many hardware synths do you own?

I most recently had 2 drum machines, 2 analog monos, 2 digital polys. Now I'm just down to my machinedrum and microbrute. Re: Which Hardware Sequencer for full songs?

I'd personally stick with the mpc1000, those buttons can get shitty but they're pretty easy/cheap to replace.

Re: Would you have different synths without internet ?

I definitely wouldn't have my esq, and it's hard to say if id still be into music all these years later as I am definitely one of those people who learned what's what with freeware/torrents as a teenager.

Re: What do you want from Moog?

I'm not particularly a fan of moog - the price of their products is prohibitive and while their synths sound great there's plenty of other choices that suit my tastes and it's pretty hard to get around that. I like how the sub37 looks but while I can afford it, I'm not enticed. Maybe something hybri...

Re: How often do you use hardware live, if at all?

I like writing stuff at home and "playing" it out with serato on my laptop.
Might start jamming with a friend who plays bass though, since I don't drive I'll be limited to whatever I can fit in a duffel bag

Re: Do you ever feel pressured to use a synth?

I feel this way when i really get into a project on my computer with maschine and then I look over and feel guilt that I didn't use any of my hardware.

Re: Is the ms20 mini a good entry point into modular synthes

It's the internet, mistakes are made, comments misread - not a big deal.

Moving on - I got it home yesterday but in my excitement to get it I forgot I needed 1/8 inch plug cable. Cruel...
