Re: Roland TR-707 & Sequential Circuits Prophet 600

Well I meant with the footswitch input. It says in the manual that it's possible to clock it, so you don't need to tap :) Google is your friend: http://archive.org/stream/synthmanual-prophet-600-owners-manual/prophet-600ownersmanual#page/n11/mode/2up Chapter 2-3 I suppose you already know that the ...

The same guy was also working on custom light up switches for the Prophet 600, right? Did those ever get anywhere?

Yes, but I'd like to trigger it with an external drum machine, like my 707, so I don't have to tap the arp into place with my foot for every note.

Roland TR-707 & Sequential Circuits Prophet 600

Any way to link the arpeggiator to the 707? I know you can't via MIDI, but the control footswitch on the back of the prophet seems alot like a juno 60... ideas?

Sysex to SCI Six Trak

Hey, I'm trying to load the factory patches to my SCI Six Trak via Sysex Librarian on my mac with a Emu Midi 1x1. I've got the Librarian working, the EMU working, but I'm not sure if I'm telling the Six Trak to do the right thing. I've tried not doing anything. I've tried pressing "Track Record + 9"...

BCR2000 talking to a SCI Six Trak

Hey,

I have a SCI Six Trak and found this article...

http://www.archfrenemy.com/projects/mod ... akmod.html

I want to get it talking to my Behringer BCR2000. The first step is to download midi ox which is a windows program. I'm on a mac. I'm already lost. Anyone else try this?

Re: Jupiter 6 Advice!

thanks for the advice. think i'll do that. It's a pretty bad price considering its condition plus there will be expensive shipping, duties etc. Might as well save that hassle for a really good one with europa. It's just dry on Ebay right now for Jupe 6's. Often there are always 3-4 up between 2-3k. ...

Re: Jupiter 6 Advice!

I posted on craigslist and kijiji. no luck.

if it's just a battery replacement and loading the tapes into it, it shouldn't cost me much at all right? I can replace a battery myself. I'm decent with a soldering iron.

is it really crazy?

I've done that but it doesn't seem to do anything. The arp is just out of sync and really fast.

Sequential Circuits Six Trak & Roland TR-707

Anyone own both of these? No matter what I do I can't seem to be able to sync the Six Trak to the TR-707 clock. Any ideas?
