Re: changing FM index on the fly? foot control?

A more glassy sound http://picosong.com/HtPH Also a chorus or leslie effect is essential. Pitch bend range ± 3, no portamento. ... succes with DX11! oh wow that's way closer than I got! so it can be done on a 4-op then! don't suppose you could spill the beans on the parameters or give me some clues...

Re: changing FM index on the fly? foot control?

yes sorry velocity sensitive. ah ok well with my blues klook patch it's taking more shape now. I'm basically working out how to join two patches together in the performance mode. I made a more glassy bell/rhodes type noise (with super fast portamento) and stored on a new thingy. The louder one is th...

Re: changing FM index on the fly? foot control?

got my dx11 now! very nice board! like it looks so slim and stylish! anyway, I've been at this patch re-creation for ages (like 2 hours!) and I just can't get there, I can get the full velocity sound. but the lower velocity sound (0:32 on the video) I just can't do. basically I don't think a 4-op ca...

Re: Jarre live setup on Electronica tour

I think the real question is does he actually preform any of it live!? lol Yes, I've been wondering about this, too. He obviously played the solo lines live, that's for sure. That TR8, ARP2600 and GRP A4 looked more like a part of stage design than something he's use much. The drummers however...th...

Re: Jarre live setup on Electronica tour

I saw Jarre this year too at Cardif doing the electonica 2 tour. Was alright... but it was no destination docklands/Eiffel tower/Egypt. I'd much rather go to one of his big outdoor one-offs! He doesn't seem to use a keystar as much these days which is a disappointment. His new material was a bit bla...

Re: changing FM index on the fly? foot control?

The first notes played on a SY77 http://picosong.com/HB72 Key velocity changes the index, left hand for pitch bend. TX7 factory preset E.GUITAR is a good starting point. very good! is that a re-creation you made your self? you'll have to share the sysex file :) BUT, can it still do the glassy kiss ...

blues for klook patch

Ok so I was listening to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoOugRiJGh0 changing FM index on the fly? foot control? if it's on a DX (which it probably is) does one of the dx's have an output on the back for a foot expression so you could assign it to something like FM amount? I think that's what'...

Re: so Juno 60's are about £1000 now? what the h**l?!

Yeah for me the juno60 was the first proper synth I got to play, was a bit later in music college though. I already had a casio hz600 but it was ehhhh, it's cool in its own way but when I got to hear the 60 for the first time.... :P :P I think the main people want them is 1: hands on control 2: that...

What's going on with the Juno 60 and 106's? seriously. I want one but just about £1000 to get one that's nuts! 10 years ago you could get one for 400-600£? yeah roughly that depending on condition. I mean, I want one for looks... cause yeah they look gorgeous! especially the 60 with the blue/red/whi...
